Drop-Down Menu stuck open

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

When I launched my site today I found that the drop down menu is stuck in the open position. Any thoughts on what happened here and how to fix it? Any help is appreciated.

Have you updated anything or moved server?

With a released live site you need to disable Development mode otherwise its very slow and older IE versions will have issues

ah sorry I misunderstood the launch bit

What happens if you re-compile in the template settings?

I'm assuming you have a backup extension in place? - akeeba?

Cheers

Yes, I've been keeping back-ups with Akeeba. Paul, what do you mean by re-complile?

In the template settings there is a less to css button

It compiles the LESS code to CSS code

I re-compiled but it didn't fix the menu issue. Any other thoughts by chance? Thanks for your help.

Did you update the T3 plugin or template prior to the menu issue?

When I logged out yesterday, the menu was working fine. There is a prompt to update the T3 System Plugin but when I tried, I got the message that it was an Invalid extension update.

Can you confirm the template and T3 plugin versions that are installed?

I was able to fix this permanent drop down menu situation in the template manager by changing the Navigation Style to Megamenu (from Joomla Module). Thanks for spending time on this with me today.

hmm odd - not quite sure why it should do that

I'd suggest not updating the T3 plugin going forward

Me neither! Wish I was getting paid hourly. Onward on this project. Thanks again and I'll steer clear of T3 plugin updates.
