Carousel Arrow position

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hello -

Can anyone please tell me how to move the navigation arrows in a carousel to a different place? For instance I am using new lifestyle. I'm using the same carousel as in the sample page. The arrows are on either side of the carousel (left and right). I would like the arrows to be like that of the carousel in Base3.

Thank

(latest joomla 3.3 and t3)

Hi

I'm a bit unclear which one is different on the base3 template as they look both the same

bambootheme.com/showcase/base3/

is the link minus the demo frame - perhaps include the link to the one you are referring to?

Cheers

I've attached the screen shots. you can see that the navigation arrows are in different positions. How do I get the one above to look like the one below? So I want the one in New Lifestyle to look like the Base3 carousel.

thanks

Hi

Are those both slideshows rather than carousels?

Are you also wanting the carousel to load in a tab? e.g. best sellers?

sorry I'm a bit confused what you are asking me for assistance with?

The slideshow in new lifestyle is a standard themed layout and is designed for this template

"The slideshow is an instance of the Zentools module published to the banner position. It uses the slideshow standard layout. If you use other slideshow layouts in this position you may receive varying results." (from the documentation)

To clarify you want the new lifestyle slideshow to look like the slideshow on the base 3 demo page?

sorry. I'm just looking to move the navigation arrows, from where they are now, on the left and right to a postion where they are next to each other as in the Base3 slideshow.

Its not as straight forward as that

#slideshowwrap .slideshow .slide-controller {bottom: 0%; left: 90%;}

and then style these as required

.zentools ul.flex-direction-nav li a { }

The slideshow option in the zentools module has various types

standard, overlay, overlay frame, stretch

If you go to the slideshow tab in the module its the first option
