As stated in post, we are looking to make some changes to an existing Joomla template, Newstream (see link below). I have listed the types of general changes we will be looking to make.

We have a temporary site (link below) that gives a general idea of what we would like to do. Note that this temporary site does not reflect SEVERAL extensions/plugins we will need on our permanent site.

I think I may have understated the importance of K2 for this project as I think that is where we are going to get our best features and additions. K2 comes with the template.
