multiple tweets not loading

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I have everything set up correctly and installed. I can load a single user tweet and it shows fine, however when I select multiple users and put 2 usernames to load it shows nothing. Any ideas as to what is going on?

Not really sure but this issue pops up from ttime to time. Can you use another user like Joomlabamboo to see if that loads. Are you using the user or query string? Perhaps post a link and screenshot of your settings and we can help you further.

I tried using several user accounts including the ones used on this site. I got nothing if I used multiple users. I did some more digging and saw the workaround using OR from:username and it worked so I guess I am good to go but it would be nice if it worked like advertised. Other than that I like this new twitter app!

It's quite possible that something in the api has changed which would account for it suddenly happening - unless you loaded another extension that also loaded jQuery.

Ill add it to the todo list to investigate.

Any news on this issue?
Strugling with the same problem here...

Using queries with a hashtag (#) don't seem to work either...
It's stuck on loading tweets.

Hi,

Hashtags don't work as a query term, though I agree it would be nice. Maybe it will get addded with an update to the module.

Of course, when you use Alkmaar as the search term it will also retrieve #alkmaar.

Sure, but you also get all kinds of other cr*p like public transport delayed messages etc. And I can't block certain users (right?) It would be great to be able to follow multiple users, but that's exactly what this thread is all about, that doesn't work...:(

So now I am left with just two options: following only 1 user or query 'alkmaar'. Unfortunately both are not good enough and I'm afraid I'm going to have to look for another module. And that's a shame because JTweet looks great and would be perfect if 'following multiple users' would actually work!

You can't block users, no.

jTweet is in need of some love, and I know that Anthony has put it on his to-do list. So, there may well be an update of jTweet soon.

Now the query 'Alkmaar' doesn't even give the same result as it does directly on twitter.com?
It only shows result from 1 user?????? (yes, setting is 'query')

This makes it useless...
Come on guys, it looks so nice, please make it work.
I'm willing to pay for this nice looking module if that helps?

I changed the jtweet mod at the bottom of this page to your query and it worked here - displayed the latest Alkmaar tweet.

Do you see it on your site now?

Im not sure I follow really :)

Seems to be working so any intermittent issue has to be with the twitter api?

I don't know why this happened either but... I am just glad it works again like it did before.

TLC: Queries don't work with a hashtag, and following multiple users doesn't work either.
