I have installed jTweet and JBLibrary. jTweet is displaying nicely on
my page but unfortunately it wont show any tweets. I have tried
changing various options but cant see anything that would help.
It says "Loading Tweets..." for a couple of seconds but then this vanishes.

(FYI the follow me link is working fine)

Please help as this looks like the nicest Twitter ext for Joomla I
have seen yet and I really want it working on my site!

When was the last time you created a tweet and/or how old is the most recent tweet? I've noticed that over time, if you do not keep your postings fresh jTweet drops everything.

I would love for this to be possible as it looks a bit strange to see the "loading tweets" text, -and then nothing happens....

Does this happen all of the time, or just sometimes?

Anyone who uses Twitter frequently has noticed some of their mysterious downtimes. They happen, often during peak usage times, and sometimes randomly. They have been much better recently I think, but that would likely be the issue if it happens sometimes.

It seems to happen all the time.
Old tweets will not show and I don't understand what triggers this.

I'm putting different jTweet modules on profile pages and some of the profiled are not very active twitter users, hence their tweets disappear after a while.

Do you have a link to check? I'd like to see how its setup before making further suggestions.

Last week her two tweets from "NSTaniaB" showed, but now they don't load anymore.
This also seems to happen with other profiles using jtweet. They are all set to show 2 tweets. Ref. Scott, Tobbe ...

Mikael is a working example and I think the only difference is "he tweets more regulary"!?

The pattern seems to be the tweets disappear after 12 days.

Di dyou update to the latets version? The update to v1.5 has a number of improvements and while we didnt focus on this it might have been solved int he update.
