Map not loading completely; And zoom buttons

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I get a glitch where the bottom portion of the map, sometimes just the lower left corner and sometimes the whole bottom third, doesn't load the satellite imagery; I just get grey background as with a standard view. This is the area where Google overlays their logo and copyright text, though I don't know why that would affect it.

A second glitch I just noticed: the plus and minus zoom buttons don't work though the slide does.

Hey Brad,

Make sure the lazyload in the JB Library plugin is disabled. You may need to apply the settings a couple of times.
If that does not work, add a link and I will take a look for you.

Cheers,
Jason.

Lazyload images is disabled. Interestingly, I changed to the PhocaMaps plugin and it fixed the map-loading problem, but I'm still getting a problem with the zoom tool. Currently with the PhocaMaps plugin, the slide works but not the +/- and directional buttons. I'll go ahead and load both maps on the page so you can see them both. They are located at http://www.grazeburgers.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=32&Itemid=11.

Zoom buttons, same problem. Any solution since this was first noted in the forum? Maps load just about ok, but often need a page refresh.

You should try switching jQuery versions in JB Library, that may help.

If not please share a link. Thanks.

Hey there,

Which version of the framework and jb maps module are you using.

There was a conflict a few versions ago from memory.

Updated both jb library plugin and jb maps module.

No problem with map load and the street view looks spectacular.

Tried all jQuery versions in JB Library, but still no zoom in or out.

Hi Philip,

Did you update the Zen Grid Framework too?

Seth, thanks, not yet. To be honest not sure how to do it.

Do you have a link/post which explains how to do this correctly?

The framework is an easy one, you can just download the latest version and install. That's it.

You can download it here: www.joomlabamboo.com/joomla-templates/zen-grid-framework

Sorry, but back to this one again after 2 months.

I downloaded 'JB_zengridframework_J1.5_v1.1.18' zip

To update then, this zip is installed like any regular extension via Extension Manager?

Also just left a post about Newstream template with Joomla 1.6. Got a bit confused. Is the Zen Grid update I need to use the one above, or should I go straight for a 1.6 version'?

thanks

Yes you can just us the installer.

If your site is running Joomla 1.5 you need that version of the framework. If you have Joomla! 1.6 take the 1.6 version of the framework.

Unfortunately, this is the only element which has beat us.

The upgrade of the Zen Grid framework sent everything in tilt, so we had to revert back to what we had.

And the end of the day, it doesn't really matter. Our Google maps are simple indications for the readers.

However, not sure what to do if we want to offer a detailed stand alone itinerary?
