Sorry all...

I use the JFlickr module in a lot of position for my photographic website,
In some the thumbnail works perfectly but it open a blank windows with "this photo is currently unavaiable" when you click it...

In some page it show perfectly the size of the immage for a certain set.
In some other page it just put "this photo is currently unavaiable"

Someone knows why?

Try Luca toffolon or Walesa Porcellato and you get flickr with "this photo is currently unavaiable"
Try other and you get all works perfectly!

Ive never quite been able to figure that one out.

Is the size you are displaying available?

Its an issue on flickr's end but thats the only thing I can think of.

I think I have an answer to this. Maybe.

Flickr seems to only send the size requested in the configuration. And Original Size is special too...

If you send a batch of pictures to Flickr that are all different sizes Flickr will build a gallery with the images you send in the sizes that match their pre-decided sizes. If you picture is smaller than that size it doesn't up size. If you're asking for a size not listed, it comes up as unavailable.

On Flickr, they serve whatever size...but the API seems to be specific to just the size listed.

Original size is special...it has to be larger than the Flickr definition for large...and you have to have bought the Premium subscription for the Flickr account. Pay the $25 and you get original sizes.

I've taken to pre-sizing all my uploads a little larger than the large size and then asking for Original sizes and so far it's so far it's working like a charm.

This happens on several of my images. I remember reading somewhere that if you have ever changed the restrictions of the image to anything other than public, it forever screws up that image with regard to API compatability. So if you made an image, friends and family only, even if you switch it back, that image is toast. You have to delete and re-upload it. This was easily several months ago however, so flikr may have fixed it by now...

We are actually look into developing this module a bit more and perhaps we'll try to work in a better error for this type of scenario.
