Responsive? Resize pics on ipad/smartphones?

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi,
i have an urgent question:
=> i have 6 category images sized 800 x 800 px. In captify module the images are resized to 300 x 300 px. So far so good ..on a PC.

Now on ipad and smartphone the 300 x 300 px images are not resized any further to fit the ipad/smartphone resolution - the stay at 300 x 300 px (which is to big) ...

Is there a way to make the images/the captify module responsive?

Even CSS does not work:

img {
height: auto;
max-width: 100%;
}

does not affect the images.

Is there a solution for that?

Regards

Hi Can you post a link to the site?

It' likely to be related to the template in this case.

Captify Content doesnt have any built in responsive functionality.

Thanks

Template is responsive. They say ...
Captify is only on the startpage. Resize your browser, please. As you can see the 6 images do not resize any smaller (as the pixel-size given in captify module)...

Ok.

It's beyond the scope of the forum to help with this sort of thing. Captify isnt responsive as we moved all of the responsive stuff into Zentools.

Zentools is our responsive module.

It is possible to make captify responsive but it requires a bit of tweaking. Mainly css. It's possible but not something we can offer at this stage.

Thanks for your understanding Anthony

Hi Anthony,

thanks for your answer.
Now that you got an idea of what I want to do - is Zentools able to do what I am looking for?

What you see in my example are 6 images from 6 categories.

We need:
- a hover effect with different colors
- the hover should work on iPad / Android / Smart Phones
- each "hover square" has different text (right now I only got it to work with "text in an image", best would be plain text that is added within the module ;)

Will Zentools work for that?

If my problem is beyond the scope of the forum, is it possible to communicate through mail?

Really appreciate your time and effort :)
