Actually I spent a good deal of time on this the other day and Im afraid to say the solution isnt forthcoming yet.

Im sure its possible. Just needs some more contemplation.

Actually I just found one thats working in ie8:

The extension is otherwise superb and looks/functions beautifully (I love that it seems to also work OK with javascript/css turned off for accessibility etc).

This one problem however (for me) renders the plugin unuseable

Well it often turns out that the solutions that take hours to find are actually down to one line of code and as is the case with the dreaded ie8 and captify issue.


Drum roll please ....

If you go into templates/zengridframework/css/template_css.css file and remove the line that says:

img {position:relative;z-index:1}

that will get the images to display properly.

Ill be releasing a fix for this int he framework once Ive chased down a few other additions I want to add but for the time being this case can be closed - can the folk subscribed to this post confirm?

Think I've done something wrong somewhere

I've re-installed new version of the template and it doesn't work
Also when I searched the old template version for the line I couldn't find it

(Edit - I was looking at version 1.1.3 with the newer versions I can find the line but no luck either with removing it or with the new template version)

The update (and fix) was for the Zen Grid Framework, you don't need to update your tempate if you already have a version compatible with v1.1+ of ZGF.

Sorry - meant the framework thing I seem to always call it a template.

To clarify I've installed the new version of the framework and no luck - I've also tried removed the line of code with no luck

I'm probably doing something dim and as I'm being hassled from all directions today

I'm still having issues with IE and captifycontent. However the issue is now with IE 9. Is there a fix for this. I've updated both the JB Library as well as the module Captify.

I upgraded everything before the post to make sure it wasn't version related. Unfortunately it wasn't. both JB Library and Captify content are up to date.
