zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Got a problem with IE when I use captify - got a few sites I'm working on with the same problem
- riversideconsultancy.co.uk/catering/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=3&Itemid=3

Has s similar problem previously is there a solution to this? Do I need to change the settings?

Cheers :)

Hi Paul,

I can see the issue, but I can't see why that is happening, so I will ask Anthony to take a look also.

Are you using the current version of Captify? If not, I would suggest that you should update as the first step. Thanks.

Hi Seth,

This version isn't but the other site that isn't live does have the most up to date version and has the same problem.

Cheers :)

Hi Paul sorry for the delay.

Just logged this on the todo as a bug.

Should get this sorted soon.

No worries B)

5 sites are at various stages of completion so would be handy as I like the extension - IE is a right pain.

Just wondering about time frame I've got 3 complete sites to finish by Feb 6th and I'm running behind all ready

Do you reckon you might have a update for IE by then?

Sorry to be a pain

Hi Anthony,

Looked at cultivate template and noticed that IE likes your setup of captify on this template. :)
I can't reproduce it on a test site

Wondered if you could do a screenshot so i could match up as settings?
Or is something different on this template?

The actual extension version isn't quite as good.

Like the new template - very niffty

Cheers

Hey Paul,

That demo uses the title overlay option - is that what you are using?

Hi Anthony,

Its the dark overlay - its better on a couple of the test sites I've looked at but on a couple of pics it still looks wrong.
However an improvement compared to before - might get way with it.

Hi Seth,

Thanks for the offer but I've got it looking like the new template version on IE so it's as good as it can get - I think.

I'm hoping Anthony might have a new version for me to use by around the 6th Feb as that's when about 6 JB template sites are due to go live! :)

I thought the days of IE causing problems were beginning to fade!

I'm also having an issue with Captify in IE. The transition and title isn't working at all.

I know this is being worked on already, so I would expect a new release of the module to be available shortly. I can't give a specific date though, because I don't know!

Sorry, no. Not that I know of.

This issue is apparently more complicated than first appeared, and in fact affect the original script that forms the basis of this effect.

As with many such things, IE is the real cause of this issue. As such 'fixes' are not always possible.
