the content title doesn´t apear by mouseover

Hallo, ,

I have a problem with the very nice plugin Captify Content. If I go with the mouse over the pictures nothing happens. If I click into one image a new site opens with the content and if I than go to the images at the modul position right the title fades in like it should.

Have a look at www.active-events-mallorca.com

Is there a possibility to solve the problem? What is my mistake?

Thanks for your help

Hi Heiko,

Looks like jquery might be already loading because of the script egator - try disabling the JB Library plugin to see if that fixes it.

Hi Anthony,

thank you for your answer.

I disabled the JB Library, but it works like before - title runs only after klicking one image. Very strange.

If someone has another idea would be cool. I really don´t know what to do and searching by Google doesn´t help.

Thanks a lot

Hallo,

the problem is the modul Ajax Slideshow Header on Modul position user3. If I disable this Captify Content works. I think there is no way to enable both modules?

Thanks

Hey Heiko,

See if there is an option in that Ajax Slideshow module to disable jQuery. If not you might need to hack the module a bit. Probably try their forum for an existing solution to that.
Let us know how it goes.

Cheers,
Jason.

Hi Jason,

thank you all for your help. I took the (for me) easiest way: I switched the Slideshow Modul to RokSlideshow and now it works :)

Bye, until the next time

I have the exact same problem but no slideshow or stuff like that installed:
dev.studio2075.com/

And by the way, I'm not able at this time to output my images in "portrait" mode, is this normal?

Thanks!

Hey Valerie,

I think you need to ensure that 'Enable Captify Effect' is set to yes in your CaptifyContent parameters.
From your source it does not appear to be the case.
Let me know.

Cheers,
Jason.

Hi Jason,

I must admit first that I'm not "exactly" Valerie, I'm her webmaster trying to first setup her website ;)

To answer your question, yes the option is set to "yes", I try to attach a screenshot of the "Captify Params" here:

I hope this is going to help!

Thanks for your support!

Hey Yanick :)

Looks right in the parameters, Can you try uploading the files for the captify content module up to the folder
/modules/mod_captifyContent/
I suspect a corrupted upload. Let me know how it goes.

Cheers,
Jason.

Hey Jason :)

Well, I removed completely the folder before to recreate it then unzipped the content into, but no luck for me, same thing.

Is this something related with the "jb library" maybe? Do I need to unzip "captifyContent" with the "Install/Uninstall" module or I can just unzip the content?

Just tell me if there is any information you need, screenshot or something else, I'll try to provide you with that tomorrow, it's a kind of bit late for me now.

Thanks again!

Hey Yanick,

I just noticed that you are using the loadposition method for Captify Content.
Is that right? In your Captify settings I can see that the menu assignment is none.
Try publishing it to all menu items and also to a regular module position to see if that works.
We can then identify where the issue lies.

Cheers,
Jason.

Hey Jason,

Very good, I set the position to "grid1" and also selected "Home" for the "Menu Assignment" setting and guess what, it almost works, something strange happens now.

If I hover my mouse starting at the top of the image, the text appears and stays, but if start hovering by the bottom, nothing. In fact, I notice that if I start hovering where the black box appears, it does not work until I reach a part of the image where the black box is not.

I also tried to change width and height but this seems to do not work so much, maybe I still miss something?

UPDATE:
I previously forgot to set the ratio, now it works for the sizes but I have two lines of images.

Thanks!

Yanick

Hey Yanick,

The second row of images is from another instance of Captify.
Since that is loading the scripts correctly, the first module is also working.

As for the fade effect not working on part of the image, that is a bug that is yet to be fixed in captify. Working on that one. You can use the slide effect for captify and that works fine.

Cheers,
Jason.

Hey Jason,

Everything is finally working now, thanks a lot!

Can I be advised when the extension is going to be updated regarding the bug?

Hey Yanick,
