Hello,

I just upgraded a website to Joomla 3.0 that was using Captify Content. I have four versions of the Module on there.

I uninstalled the old version with the new JB_mod_captifycontent_J2.5_J3.1_1.1.14.zip and also installed the JB Library Plugin JB_jblibrary_J2.5_J3.0_2.1.5-beta2.zip

Now when, I activate the plugin, I get a blank home screen. It comes back if I disable it.

Any idea what is going on? Is the old version still in the database?

Hi Chuck,

I would suggest replacing captify with zentools as that is a newer extension with more options and is responsive

If you want to stick with captify we need to find out the error

So in the global configuration turn up error reporting to maximum

Is it a Joomla Bamboo template that has captify installed?

I am using a Joomlashine Template called Epic. The Captify Module was working great on Joomla 2.5

Is using zentools an option for you?

As zentools is newer and development is active while captify won't see any further enhancements or updates

Hello,

I added the Zentools instead of Captify Content.

I am having trouble getting the width set.

I would like to have two rows of three thumbnails each.

I tried using the preset Captify Content layout, but when I make a change and Save, it defaults back to Grid. Any idea why this is not saving?

When you hit the preset button do you see preset applied on the button?

I select the Captify Content Preset, and then hit Set Default Options.

I then hit the Save button. And it reverts back to the Grid Layout.

The button text doesn't change when you click it?

It does change, it says Preset Applied.

But then I hit Save and it goes back to Grid Layout.

Do you see any error in the console window when clicking the button?

I have error reporting turned on in Joomla and also checked in Firebug. But I am not seeing anything.
