Split the Module?

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hello there,

this gallery looks awesome. Thanks for that.

But i have a question:

I have a template with mainly 3 divs (left, right and the main for the content)

Now i would like to put the thumbs in a module on the right position which shows me the big images in the content area when i hover over the thumbnails.

Is there a possibility to do this?

Regards,

Flo

The div that displays the image is actually absolutely positioned so it is very possible to have it float above the middle div. Just use the relative gallery position left and play around a bit width the width and height of the module. You may need to change some of the css in the hover_box.css file to get it working exactly the way you want it.

Cheers Anthony.

Hello Mr. Olsen,

thanks for this fast answer. This works perfectly.

But how can i configure it that the contenarea is empty?

Another question:

How can i configure it, that the thumbnails are all shown in a vertical

row with a dynamic height of the module?

And is it possible to configure the module somehow that it defines the images dynamically? So that i only put them in a directory and the module looks for itself how many images there are and which filenames they have?

Best regards,

I guess the easiest way is just to create a content item that has alot of blank space - or at least space as high as the tall image you want to display.

You can set the width of the thumbnail div to as wide as one thumbnail and the images should cascade vertically. Not sure what you mean by the dynamic height of the module though - the module height needs to be fixed to the height you need based on the height of the thumbnail div and the images being 'hovered'.

Not possible yet but maybe for some future version?<br><br>Post edited by: Anthony Olsen, at: 2007/07/25 11:56

Ok, thanks for the information. This all works great.

Dynamic height would only be important if you could load the number of pics

dynamically.
