Hi - this is a great gallery module...thanks! Only issue I am having is the old image flicker when viewed in ie7. When rolling over the thumbnail it flickers terribly. Have looked at a number of methods around this known issue, but haven't found anything that I can apply in this case (only a css learner).



Are you able to resolve this issue? Naturally it is fine on other browsers.

It is like you have to rove the cursor over the thumbnail until it hits the right position, before it stops flickering and the main image will display still.



I have copied the CSS into my template's css file.

Yes it seems this is an issue with the module. I just checked the original version at cssplay.co.uk and it works fine. Ill get to the bottom of it and then post a fix as soon as I can.

No not yet ... its really quite strange when you look at the output of both the original and the module its the same so Im not sure what the difference is.

i guess i found a solution:

remove style="height:a px;" from the container (hb_whatever div)

Hi thanks for posting this ... not sure if I understand. Do you mean removing it from the module .php file or the css. I tried removing all references to height and still got the flicker effect ...

remove style="height:a px;" from module.php, at least works me=)

Yes you actually need the height for some of the gallery positioning (depends on where you want the thumbnails to display).



The flicker issue gets a little weirder as the last two rows of thumbnails dont actually have the flicker effect whereas the others do. Ive experimented with the css and other factors but cant manage to fix it. Ill get to the bottom of it eventually.

Not yet unfortunately ... seems like a strange bug since the bottom two rows or the rows that extend beyond the image arent affected ... Im sure its pretty simple but just cant see it .... will get it right soon though.
