Elevate2 template: Looking for a main pbody

Hello... I've noticed in Elevate2 template, that there is no place for an article to be presented. I mean, there are module places, and so, we can make small columns, but what if i want to have a classic view, ex: with a menu on the left and an article in the main body on the right... There actually isn't a module place or am i doing somehing wrong?

Thank you!

Hi Penny,

You will need to do this like you would do in a regular Joomla template.

All you will need to do for this is to create your article item first.
Then you will need to create a menu item to link to that article.
In the Menu Type select 'article layout'

You should see your article take up the main body.

To get your menu on the left,
Look up the module for it in the Module Manager.
Make sure it is published and in the Menu Assignment,
select the menu item that you had created above.

After this you should have a layout that looks like this.

Hope that helped.

Cheers,
Jason.
