Hi

Can anyone figure out this problem:
Suddenly my site www.k-b-h.dk doesn't show up in Firefox, but it still works in Avant and Safari.

I have no clue why.

Hi Kasper,

That is due to the script that is used as spam protection for email. It is either not compatible with FF, or there is an error in the script.

Let me know if this points you in the right direction.

Thanks,
Tom

Hi Tom

It does not help me enough, because I don't know how to solve the problems you mention

Hi Kasper,

What you can best do, is uninstall the module that is containing that anti-spam script. Then see if your site is fine in Firefox. If so, then you best find another solution for it.

Let me know if this helps,

Thanks,
Tom

Hi Tom

I'm sorry but I'm not that experienced in this - BUT I have found a solution. If I remove my email adresse from the front page, firefox works again.

Now I have to find another way to show my email address.

Let us know how you get on kasper. The default email obscurer in joomla tends to work ok from my experience.

Hi Anthony

I'm not sure what you mean by obscurer - but I might just have done what you mean :O)

I am now using the contact possibility inside joomla and made a Contact menu subject at the top instead.

I was just surprised, that writing an email address could have such an effect and is now wondering if it is the same on all pages in Organica or only the frontpage? Time will show I guess.

Thanks
Kasper

Hi Kasper,

Good solution!

It's not that an emailaddress creates the problem, it;s the email prevention script that does it. It's not compatible for Firfox apparently.

Thanks,
Tom
