Im still working with this recurring issue and hope to have it sorted out today.

Hi, Anthony.

I had the same problem yesterday with all the Club Template downloads.

[Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80520012 (NS_ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND) [nsIPrefBranch.getComplexValue]" nsresult: "0x80520012 (NS_ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND)" location: "JS frame :: file:///Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/components/nsHelperAppDlg.js :: anonymous :: line 131" data: no]

Sorry you're having a problem with this. If you could email me Habitat3 and Slider, I would be grateful.

Mac/Firefox

:)

New information:

The download problem appears to be with Firefox and the FlashGot add-on (my setup, anyway). I opened and downloaded the templates from Opera 9 OK. (But oh, take a look at how the home page displays in Opera!! You'll want to do something about that.)

Anthony. Everything is fine now. I discovered a choice in the browser bar that read "Fit to Width". When I ticked that, the page looked great, when I ticked it again, the page reverted to the garbage view I posted. So the problem arose with some option I used that I didn't understand.

IE6 should be outlawed and all code destroyed.

Coffeegroup, Opera is a very nice, clean and fast browser. It has a lot of configuration options and when you are given too many choices to play with, you screw up, as I did.:laugh:

Wow thats a fairly unfortunate option to have when viewing my site ...

ie6 contributes to at least 50% of development time on some of the JB templates ... Imagine what we could all achieve if it was removed from consciousness ;)
