Optimising delivery of CSS / Google fonts

I've run into a problem where the google font I'm using for headings & logo seems to be the last thing to load on the page - you can see it in action here thumped.com/

Even after enabing template optimisation & running it through JCH_optimise, he CSS seems to be huge thumped.com/media/plg_jchoptimize/assets/gz/30/0/4e452bc94538191967085efc62b5a57b.css

Any suggestions on how to improve any of this?

You mean you are getting FOUT with the fonts?

FOUT is sometimes a limitation of the using an external source to load fonts given the delay from accessing a third party source

Have you tried reducing the number of Google fonts that are loading?
Tried any web standard fonts that are similar to the fonts you have loading e.g. it loads the web fonts and the jump when loading the google ones isn't as obvious
