Hi - I'm about to update one of my sites from j2.5 to 3. Can anyone tell me if the template I'm using is OK to do this?
It's maxbiz2 v 1.4.0
T3 framework 2.4.3
J 2.5.28
Thanks

Hi Ian,

Yes but you would want to do this away from the main site and do it on some different disk space

Extensions and components would need to be compatible

Hi Paul - thanks for getting back to me.
I have it set up in a subdirectory of the original site. Is that not a good idea?

As long as its in separate folder that's fine

I tend to build away from the domain completely but that is just me and not wanting to accidentally delete something from the real site (been there got the t-shirt) :)

Glad I'm not the only one who gets it wrong!
Thanks again for the advice - I'll update to 3 now, and see what happens!

:) Thanks.
This is one of my own, so I'm not too worried about it.
If it all works, the next site to do is a big one - for a good client, and it's a bit scary!
