This is an overview of how to setup the Joomla Bamboo template called Fold.

Fold is a unique Joomla template in that it presents upto 8 modules in the sliding/folding area and does not actually have any inbuilt module positions for menus etc. We call it a business card concept because it really is just that ... a one page site for you to present the bare bones, albeit in a magnificent fashion, for your business.

Overview. 

There are a total of nine modules used in this template. Eight are contained within the horizontal sliders and the footer module is placed below the fold.

The first window that opens when the page is refreshed is the main content body. Anything published to the first menu position in the main menu will be published here.

The 8 modules to the left of the first window are numbered user 1 to 8 respectively. In the Joomla 1.0 version of the template you need to set the number of modules in the index.php and in the J1.5 version you can set this in the template manager.

There is also a mootools text message that fades in at the top of the folding area when the mouse hovers above a particular fold. The message is set in the index.php file for J1.0 versions and in the template admin for J1.5 versions of the template. 

Template Parameters. 

Parameters available include: 

• Overall theme
• The logo
• Module Number
• Whether the folds open on mouse click or enter
• The speed of the transition
• The effect on the transition.
• The text for the messages above the fold.
