Clean Commerce is the template release for February 2008. You can see it on the demo site at http://showcase.joomlabamboo.com/feb08
It comes with 3 new modules that are configured to work with Clean Commerce. Stay Tuned for a stand alone version of each of the three - Latest News Scroller, Virtuemart Featured Products, Virtuemart Latest Products.
The Top Menu
To have the menu display like the one in the demo you need to use the extended menu module and apply the menu suffix -moo. That will generate the fading drop down menu.
Here are some screenshots of the setup for the menu module.
The Accordion menu
This is a little trickier to set up. It uses the extended menu module again and the following changes to the default parameters.
- menu style: flatlist
- expand menu: yes
- element id: yes
All of the other parameters can be left the same. The height of the accordion can be set in the index.php file and is the same for each accordion level.
Here are some screenshots of the setup for the extended menu module:
The next step in the setup is to set the menu items n the Joomla menu manager in order to create the faux accordion effect. This basically hinges on using only second level menu items for the menu items that you want to display. As you can see in the image below the menu item that is coined the parent in usual accordions is just the first menu item in the second level menu item in the extended menu, while the actual items that get displayed once the accordion opens up are the second, third and so on, second level menu items.

Shopping Cart Styling
To achieve the same shopping cart styling as the demo publish the virtuemart cart to user 9 and apply the -cart module suffix.
JB Login
The login on the demo is using the JB login module which comes with the zip file published to the user 9 position also.
Flexible ModulePositions
The area above the main content is where the advert1 module is published. Each module that is published to the advert1 position can be controlled by the following module classes.
-150
-200
-300
-400
-500
-600
-700
-800
-950
Using one of these module classes will deliver a module with a rounded box atthe width of the specific class you nominated, eg use -400 and the module will be 400px wide.
