Yesterday I posted a little preview of our January club theme called Avanti. Today I thought I would give you a preview of our second Joomla admin theme we are calling Crisp Admin. Its not a huge departure from the Simpla joomla admin theme and it certainly draws on a similar aesthetic and functionality but I would say that its less flamboyant than Simpla and perhaps more suited to corporate or business clients who want their Joomla UI to be clean, crisp and minimal.

Last year I put a call out for a new designer to join us here at Joomla Bamboo via twitter. While we had a few worthy contenders contact us none fit the bill perfectly and so after hours scouring css galleries and other designer portfolios I came across David Vuu's folio. I instantly fell in love with the depth and attention to detail in his designs and felt that he would make a perfect compliment to the Joomla Bamboo aesthetic. Avanti is his first design and I must say its a ripper!

Hi folks, my name is Barbara Rudlin and I have been very kindly asked by Anthony to join the team here at Joomla Bamboo as resident blogger. I have been working with Anthony for the past couple of years, using the templates and extensions, which I have enjoyed immensely. So I thought that before I start writing about web design, joomla, seo, freelancing and everything else  I would get to know the themes a little better and so I asked the team which were their favourite Joomla templates from the catalogue and why.

Joomla Bamboo has created templates for online shops, magazine style, portfolio sites and of course blogs. With the latest introduction of a template for the Admin section of your site, we are continuing to simplify the Joomla experience, both for you and your clients.

We've been re-considering the way that the Joomla Bamboo quickstart packages are handled for some time and thanks to some recent feedback on our forum we've take a little bit of time to put together a new system to replace the quickstart packages, with what we are calling JB SnapShots.
