If you don't have the need for an online shop, then Shop Ignition can just as easily be used as a stunning magazine Joomla template. It comes complete with a simple and elegant template override for both standard Joomla content and K2 with a selection of module and page classes to help lend a little variation to your content pages. The demo site has a grid based magazine layout ala Grid and Grid2 which we know will come in handy for those of you using image heavy content on your website.

Tienda may seem like the new kid on the block but it offers some amazing control and features for what is a relatively new Joomla commerce platform. We love working with Tienda and our Shopfront and Zen Simple Shop joomla templates were certainly popular offerings from the templates we released in 2010. Tienda offers physical, non-physical and subscription based products as well as an astounding array of payment processor plugins and 3rd party Joomla extension integration.

Red Shop Joomla Template

Redshop is a flexible and powerful platform for building a Joomla based shop with. The folks at Redcomponent recently released a free version of the component that offers advanced seo support, physical and downloadable product options and unlimited images per product with dynamic thumbnail resizing. The templating in Redshop is very clean and easy to work and so we are excited to be working with Redshop.

Shop Ignition is built on the Zen Grid Framework which provides some amazing control over all manner of elements on your website and version 1.1 adds some significant new features and improvements that make controlling your website easier. Shop Ignition comes with a ton of module positions - well at least 50 - split menus, accordion menus, superfish menus, tabbed moduel interfaces, google analytics, css and javascript compression and more.
