Font Weight

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

H1 font is Bold. I want all fonts to be light, including all H fonts and Body fonts.

My website is edu.bimsrv.com

Hi again,

In the fonts have you set a font weight for the headings? e.g. 600

Thanks

Thanks Paul, it was set to 600. I reduced it to 200 and then 100. Reducing to 100 is the same as 200. I cannot make it lighter

Not all font weights work with a particular font

I think from memory you are using a sans-serif as font so the font used will depend on the browser / OS system default font choice

Cheers

I'm trying to use typekit, but apparently it is not working. It is using Google font "Raleway". This too can be lighter than what is getting displayed.

I do not think it is a browser issue. My website www.bimsrv.com also uses typekit and the font weight is what I want in edu.bimsrv.com

Hi

With Raleway this is a google font so you don't need to use typekit

What are you adding to the font input as I still san serif as the font displaying?

I do not want to use Google fonts at all. Do not know how to do that. I've put my Typekit ID. What settings I should use for Body and H fonts in my Template?

Are you still wanting to use Raleway?

Hi

It is quite a bit simpler to use Google fonts - as Raleway is a google font I was going to tell you want to add

I'd rather use my Typekit. Let me know the complication

Complication is you may need to override headings using custom css

I'm already using custom css. Just let me know what to use to get this right.

custom css is not a complication at all
