I want to put a copy of the sidebar menu in a 1P2 themed site (dev link) in the offcanvas position. I can make the default menu (from quickstart) appear there using top-right, but a copy of the sidebar menu doesn't appear under either of these conditions:

straight-publish a copy of the sidebar menu to top-right
create a menu item with a zen-module (copy of sidebar) published to top right

prepare content is activated in both cases. both are currently published to top-right.

In the layout section what do you have in regard to off canvas?

and what mobile option do you have set up?

Off topic but how do you make the phone icon on the left-hand side.

I have offcanvas set up to fire at grid collapse = 801px.

Actually, getting somewhere now - had to get it back in bounds with some css.

Yes, that's the one. I keep it in my emergency toolkit, for when other stuff won't work or I need a quick trick.

Unlike ZenTools, which is the biggest hammer in the top drawer of my *regular* tool box - no matter what the problem, i first try a good solid whack with The Big Hammer.
