This is getting interesting. Let me try to explain what I did; my words escape me most of the time.

It took some trial and error, but I finally got a duplicatable response.

First, I duplicated a module. Next, I changed the overlay color from orange to yellow.

The result was: 1) a drop in the first image in the row, 2) a font color change in the category tag title and title itself on mouseover (previously was picking up the font color from the template backend -- the word Sponsor and the title were yellow on mouseover, now white) and, 3) a successful change of the actual overlay color.

Sorry, I didn't see this earlier. I hope you enjoy your weekend. I did all my changes re: where we are at now in the Module Theme tab...nothing in the Template settings.

Did my images not come through or did you delete them? I can resend them if needed.

This thread got a little lost are you still having problems?

The problem still exists and it is duplicatable. I cannot change Zentools2 fonts, colors, etc. at the module level. That said, the site functional and looks fine. So, if you want to continue to dig through the problem for knowledge sake, I'm in. If not, I'm good with moving forward.
