Grid4 - Image in Background position

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I'm having trouble replicating the look of the demo example in the Grid4 template. See attached file - I have the image set in the Background position. I can change the size of the background image, but I can't seem to get rid of the "unfilled" overlay background - it looks like the size of the module is fixed somewhere.
Background doesn't show up on the module map, are the settings I'm looking for somewhere on the specific Zentools2 module details?

Great template - I'm having fun playing with it.

Hi Mark,

Do you have a link for the site?

Still playing with it right now. I may be looking in the wrong place for my issue.

The 3 x 3 grid is in Grid 1 position currently - if I specify a background color that works, but the grid no longer overlays the image which is in the Background position. If I specify no background for the Grid 1 module it shows as the picture above.

Thanks for the help.

Hi M,

Do you have an image assigned now to the gridwrap1 currently?
I can't see an image as a background

Is it possible to add a background-color so I can see it in the code?

Cheers

Sorry - not understanding "gridwrap1." Is it a module position?

With the template settings if you click the pencil to the right of the row

and then click the style tab

The with row style open there is a setting where a Background Image can be added

In the same setting there is an option to add a background-color

The image is currently loaded as a Zentools2 module in the "Background" position, which does not show up on the module map in the template settings.
Would I access the background-color settings from the Zentools module itself?

Hi Mark,

The background is intended to cover the top section of the page and then the rows in the template provide the background colour and images

So you have to look in the template settings to change either the background colour of the background image

e.g. this bit

With the template settings if you click the pencil to the right of the row

and then click the style tab

The with row style open there is a setting where a Background Image can be added

The template structure is a series of rows with individual modules
sitting in those rows

Back on this project again. I'm now having problems getting the Zentools module which is posted to the Background module to show up at all.

I'm using the Zentools 2 module in Slideshow-backstretch format, using Images as a content source. As far as I can tell I've got it set up the same way as your demo site, but nothing shows. What might I be missing?

Hi

There is something there but the overlay is sitting on top of it

zen-bg-overlay {background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.975);}

Try adjusting Background Overlay setting in the template setting
