I cant find the setting to expand the off-canvas menu items on page load so the user sees all menu items when the off-canvas menu slides in. How can I achieve that?

hmm not via a template setting I'm afraid

You could try copying the menu module and assigning to off canvas and publishing

but

you would need to have no change for the responsive layout menu option

and

hide the menu row on mobile

and the off canvas would only be able to show on mobile

and

maybe adjust break point values

So not an ideal solution by any means I'm afraid

To be clear this would show all menu items without any animation effect
