a:focus *after border styling?

I have modals installed. I'd like to know where to style the box border that appears after closing the modals window around the modal trigger image. Attached. Actually looks exactly like the border around this text input box I'm using this moment.

Any clues as to what that css might be? The blue does not work for us. Haven't had any luck - I've spent a couple hours with the Chrome inspection tool to no avail.

Can you try these

.modal_link.cboxElement img:focus, .modal_link.cboxElement img:hover {outline:0; border:0;}
a.modal_link.cboxElement {outline:0; border:0;}

Its bit fiddly looking at focus you may need 1 style or both

if both you can merge the styles
