iPad menu portrait / landscape

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

hi

The menu on www.halifaxminster.org.uk works great on an iPad (portrait) not not tilted landscape. How do I force the same type of menu to appear in the landscape setting? (Or would there be a better work round?)

Just to check - you mean the menu isn't working correctly on ipad in landscape?

Can you attach a screenshot of your break points?

Is this the correct screen?

Are you asking to make the ipad display the mobile menu?

Yes I think that is probably the best solution as the current one isn't working.

Try changing the nav collapse value

I still have the problem. The menu works ok on the iPad in portrait view, but in landscape view it still looks like the screenshot I posted before. I tried changing the nav collapse value from 1000 down to 400 and up to 1200 but no joy. It doesn't seem to change anything (I tried clearing cache etc.)

And mine too now. A cache has obviously cleared somewhere and something I changed has done the job. Thanks.

The website looks great on the iPad now but the menu on my MacBook laptop / desktops has now also changed to the corner pulldown rather than standard menu style.

Can you suggest a way to avoid this?

I'm assuming it is because the break point is wider than the menu on your macbook

According to www.websitedimensions.com the iPad landscape screen size is 1024. How should I set the Nav Collapse value if I want to see the mobile menu on that screen, but the standard menu on a standard laptop screen size?

I think I have the breakpoint values right now for the iPad and most laptops but on some screens it's still opening the second level of the menu to the left (see screenshot.)

Is there any way of forcing this to open to the left instead of the right?
