Hi Paul - I've embedded an iframe on this page www.financingfirst.co.uk/Patients-repayment-calculator but it's not showing.

I have iframe and embed element enabled in JCE, and no text filters in global config.

The iframe works fine on a non-joomla page, so I'm missing something.

Any ideas?

Can you see the iframe box in the article in the Joomla admin?

Does the box still display in the admin after saving?

That is what I expected...

I wonder if the calculator is not generating the code as I think it should.

I did put out a call to the developer earlier (he's not got back yet) - as always I assumed it must be my fault, so I came to you...

Hi Ian,

It looks like you aren't pasting the right path for the iframe
e.g. I'm assuming the file is in /calculator_folder/
Is the file in this folder?

Hi Paul - the developer just got back to me - we had http:// in the path, not https://

That's fixed it

Hi Paul not sure what is expensive is for these things - and the client was happy to pay for it.

It cost £112 - the developer (in India) quoted eight hours at £14, and stuck to, even though the client was picky and there was a bit of to-ing and fro-ing.

I thought that was quite reasonable, but I have no idea how long it actually took him.

I charged on top for my time, and setting up the page etc.

Is this something I should have come to you guys for?

We gave him an Excel spreadsheet with all the calculations in place and he worked from that.

I can work in Excel, but calculations of this sort are beyond me, and my knowledge of php is non-existent...

We can do somethings like that but depends on peoples availability work wise

Hi Paul - how did the pricing sound to you? I know that £120 is a fortune to the guys in India, but as I said, I don't know how long he actually spent on it.
