Hi Paul

I've installed MAMP but I can't make it do what it ought to.

I will try to sort it out tomorrow. Meanwhile, I would really appreciate it if you guys could look under the bonnet for me.

There's clearly something wrong with the installation. I've fixed tables, fixed permissions, cleared caches, rebuilt menus, rewritten .htaccess - everything I can think of but it seems if I update anything in the template control panel it kills the site.

There's a warning that the PHP path to temp is not set, but when I look at global config and config.php it all seems fine.

When the site was down I could select other templates and it worked, although I wasn't convinced it was all as it should be.

Feeling a bit helpless...

I can only assume its the memory on the account but please create a ticket and we can look

Please include server access and a summary of the problem again
