Hi,

I'm using Zentools2 Carousel on the Buildr framework and want to be able to click on the images so that they open up in a lightbox. This works perfectly other than on the first image where it doesn't seem to recognise it at all in the lightbox. To start the lighbox image 2 needs to be clicked and when the back button is clicked it doesn't go to image 1, it goes to the last image in the carousel. Do you know what might be causing this? What is the content source?

I'm using version 2.2.7 and the content source is images from a folder on the server.

Are you using the "Carousel" and not the "Featured Carousel"?

You will need to compile the master css in one zentools2 module

Hi Heather,

I'd back up the site first using an extension like akeeba first

Then install the latest zentools2 version via the joomla installer

It will overwrite the previous version but not affect any existing instances of the zentools2 module on the site

To see css changes the master.css does need to be compiled

That is via the theme tab in the zentools2 module settings

Do you get the same if you change to boxed rather than none?

Hi Paul,

I had already tried those options, boxed/none etc and it doesn't make a difference.

I have attached a couple of quick snaps so you can see when I roll over the image here on the first image it has an arrow pointer and on the second (and the rest of the images) there is a hand. If they have the hand they can be clicked on and opened in the lightbox.

I have tried it on desktop and iPad and iPhone and it is the same problem throughout.

Also since updating to the new version of Zentools2 the filter images on the following pages are all overlapping. Do you know why this might be?

Just to let you know I created a ticket and this was the outcome;


In the content tab, it was set to use manual links falling back to a link to the image, but no manual links were added to the text area.

The manual links are separated by new lines and the code was taking the empty textarea as having one line with no content so the link was blank.

I have changed the option for link behaviour to just link to the image and it is now working.
