How to get menu to collapse to hamburger on mobile?

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Menus work great, except when I test it by shrinking the browser down, the menus don't turn into a hamburger menu, even though I have "Stack" selected for the Row Settings.

Is there something else I need to do?

Also in the template settings on the right side of the page look for the layout tab and in that tab are various different settings for the responsive menu

Look at the responsive section e.g. its enabled

Collapse menu to see what responsive menu option is enabled

Breakpoints to see what values trigger respective breakpoints

shortcodes is installed. Responsive section is enabled. Tried all of the Mobile Menu Types, no hamburger menu. :(

Is there a mobile menu type I should be using?

Also, when it does show in Responsive, clicking on a menu item does not drop down any of the items.

What else can I check?

Hi mike,

For example if you using off canvas - what do you have for the Offcanvas trigger text?

You go to menus tab on left and then scroll down to offcanvas

I have no idea what I'm doing with all these mobile menu types, lol. I just want to get the hamburger menu working so customers can use the site.

Hi Mike,

With drop downs are you referring to the module?

Do you have drop downs enabled in the module itself?

By drop-downs, yes, I mean the menu. I have a Products, then under it when the mouse is hovered over Products, it immediately shows:

Products
ProductA
ProductB

No, but I tried all the options and none of them gave the hamburger menu. What should I set it to?

Set it to off canvas in the responsive menu option

Then add a screenshot here of your offcanvas text setting from the menu tab on left

Do I also need a separate menu for "Mobilemenu"? I'm just using the "Menu" module in the template.
