Refreshing zentools 2 content

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I am using the Buldr template and have set up a zentools 2 module to display a gallery in grid format.
On the content tab, it does not show all the folders available to me with images, and does not refresh the images in a folder if I add a new one. Is there a way to force the module to load all the folders in the images folder? At the moment it only shows about 3 available, while in the media manager, I can see there are a number more, including the one I want to use.

Hi Larry,

Are you using the latest version?

Are folders nested in side other folders?

Cheers

Using latest version, no nested folders (I found that out before). Emptied all caches, left it overnight and still no change. As you can see from the attached screen shots, the module is not showing the available folders.

Is there any error listed in the browser console tab when viewing the folders?

Are you running any site or server caching?

No errors reported. Used both Saari and Firefox to check. All caches turned off.

I think I have solved it. After much trial and error, deleted a jpeg file which had a title that included an acute accent over the 'e' (option+e+e).
As soon as I deleted that one file in one folder, all other folders and images became available.
Not sure why, but fingers crossed, that will keep working.

Is it possible you can add the file name that was causing the problem?

The file was an image file named Ella Baché.jpg
I had to change it to EllaBach.jpg then all worked fine.

Yes, although that was not the problem. A number of other images in the folder had a space. It was only when I got rid of the acute accent on the 'e' that it worked.
