I'm trying out the new buildr theme and wanted to place the slideshow across the entire width at the top of the main page. What are the settings for this? Have tried several without success...

Have you clicked on the pencil icon for the row > clicked the style tab > Container style > and Make container fullwidth

Does that work for you?

Great, that worked!
Now for the next step: I'd like to display our logo and the menu in a white shaded box at the top of the stretched slideshow (see sample image below). Is it possible to overlap positions to achieve this or how would this be done?

Also, on single article pages I'd also like to have the top image stretch across the whole with. Would I also use zentools2 for that even if it's not a slideshow but a single fixed image.

As there is an example of this using the writer theme example using the toolbar row

Hi Paul,

I found the sample and was able to put the logo on top of the image using the toolbar row. What I havent found out is how to add a layer of semi-transparent white bethween the picture and the logo/menu. Any idea how I could achieve this wihtout having to add it to each picture in the slideshow?

What do you have as "Container background color" in the container style section?

For the toolbar row, the container background color is set to none

Try adding

fade(000,65%)

I've been trying to figure out how to configure this, but even after reading the documentation I'm stuck...

I managed to display our logo with a semi transparent background in the logo position. However when you have look at the site (staging1.sela.info/) it doesn't stretch across the entire width. I've tried setting "Make container fullwidth", but that doesn't seem to work.

Also, there is a white gap at the top of the page that I can't get rid of.

And lastly, I don't want the logo to stay on top, when the page is scrolled....
