Hi

Are you planning to show the article area of the template on the home page?

If you use an alternate position does that work?

Cheers

I am using a custom module to show some content under "main" or "bellow" positions. Content is not displayed when this positions are used, I tried other positions and it showed up. Why is in not showing under certain positions? I am also not finding certain positions (as listed under template layout positions) under the module position listings.

As indicated above, I am trying to add the main content the the home page. These three or so paragraphs are very important as they will summarize the essence of the website and I will use important keywords. Which position do you suggest me to use for this type of content and do you suggest direct text into a custom module or rather to have it inside an article?

Thanks.

Hi Jorge,

Main is not a module position, its where the main component output is displayed.

If you have the template set to hide the main content on the homepage then the below position will not work as it is part of the main section.

The easiest potion would be to show the main content area and show an article.

Hi Rob,

How do I turn to "show" the main content area on the homepage. In my template settings under layout I see that the main content component output is showing.

I tried adding a single article to the Home menu item and still the content is not showing up.

Thanks
