Menu Position.

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

So I now started using Ascent 2 template without the quickstart. I am amaze how far I got without any trouble until just when I got to Login form and drop down menu.

Here is a couple of questions:

1. I have the login Menu but it doesnt drop down. so far, I found all the position on the drop down apart from: (Position: menuposition [ Style: zendefault outline]). Do I have to create this position "menuposition" ?

2. How do I get the drop down. It is not defined in documentation

3. Where in CSS can i control the length and width of contact form. It seems to display everywhere.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi Omar,

In some cases a developer would create a module position by typing the new position in the position box

Normally this is when you want to use loadposition

So to create a position type menuposition in the position box

2. With the dropdown

Are you referring to any dropdown on the menu or one with the login form in?

3. Are you referring to the default Joomla contact form?

Is the site live?

Do you have a link?

Cheers

I am referring to the contact form for Ascent2 template. I create a menu for login and add a login form. This seems to appear as joomla form. On the quickstart, the login in the module manager has a position "menuposition" I dont seem to see that on my Ascent clean template and have no idea where to add menu position to name it "menuposition" in order to place the login module to that position.

Thanks

With it not positioning properly are you referring to the login not positioning correctly?

Do you have a menu header link type as a child of a menu header link?

And in the child menu header are you loading the module via the links zen menu tab?

Cheers
