Hello Again. I added a search menu item to the very top menu of this site:

oasiswebdevelopment.com/Medica/

And then I searched for David Galbraith (the secretary of the organization).

I tried other searches as well. However, the search results contain unwanted code. Please see the attached image. Is there a way to get rid of the code?

Are you on the latest Joomla version?

Do you get the same if you use protostar? the default Joomla template

I do not know how to test it in Protostar, as I am using the Medica template.

Hi Elizabeth,

Joomla 3 comes with a default template called protostar

If you open the template styles you should see protostar listed

Do you see it listed there?

I see it there (see attached image) but do not know how to proceed with it not being the template that I am working with and I don't want to mess things up.

Probably not.. the RFP will not even come out for another month. Why?

I think this might be fixed in a Joomla update and / or it might require a change in the template override

There is some confusion currently regarding this problem

I'm not sure if Joomla will update this feature in Joomla 3.8 or not at this stage

If they update and it isn't fixed then we need to update our search overide
