Changing off-canvas menu

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I want to change the mainmenu when width drops below the laptop breakpoint to one that does not have the zenmenu in it. I configured a menu module, connected it to the menu I created for mobile use, assigned it to off-canvas (hiding main menu in the template manager).... but at this point, I am still seeing the main menu instead of the one I created for mobile. (I'm doing this because the megamenu isn't usable the way I have it configured.)

Does Anthony's answer on the other thread make this question moot?

or is the question still current?

Anthony is addressing a different question. The off canvas problem is that I've assigned (or tried to assign) a completely different menu to off-canvas, but it's is loading the main menu instead.

If you set the Collapsed Menu Behaviour to no change

hide any unwanted off canvas module using using the breakpoint classes

Then display the module using a breakpoint class

Does this work?

I was thinking of the template row but hiding it means no logo

Solved this way:

1) create menu module for mobile devices. Assign it to off-canvas.
2) in layout manager, set 'menu' to hide. (see below).

I was out of IPA. Now we're good.

also, the position is offcanvas (no hyphen). Threw me a curveball there.
