After setting default template main page only shows Author login

Hello Paul:

Thank you for your help and support with this. I found the documentation on how to upload the quick package install and found it much easier to get started. I had thought I read somewhere that the quick package was for only dedicated or non-hosted servers with root access. Anyway, I have the demo template and wanted to use this design to begin with and change the media.
