Boost as a one page site

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi,

This may sound like a stupid question but how do I enable the One Page option in the Boost template so the site loads that way? In template manager, I chose One Page as the default and I have made modifications to the theme like adding my own background, primary and secondary colors, etc but the site keeps reverting back to the regular template. I'm obviously doing something wrong.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Joanne,

Is it reverting to a normal menu? - if so do you have the one page menu selected in the menu tab?

or is it the settings colours etc reverting?

or both?

Cheers

For menus I have Footer Menu, Main Menu, Features Menu, and Very Top Menu. I tried to find a module for the One Page menu but only those four come up.

Everything seems to be reverting back except the tweaks I've made using a custom.css file. And the weird thing is, the One Page template still has the little star beside it indicating that it is the default.

I went into Main Menu and clicked the Home item and changed the template to One Page. It now shows some of my customizations. I can work with this.

Thanks!

Just wanted to check - that you'd seen this part of the menus tab

Yes, I have that enabled and have renamed some of the pages. Still figuring things out though.

Thanks for your help, as always!
