Introtext not going to full character count

I have an zentools module with introtext set to 150 characters. I have on item cutting off at 117 characters (Polish tea). ideas? notions?

With the article is there any break in the content by some special characters or tags added via the editor?

I'm assuming you've tested with limit disabled, cache cleared etc?

ah had not thought of this as a factor
