how to sort tags

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hello,
i have a zentools2 module using the layout "filter" configured with filter-type "tags". Everything is working fine.
My question: how can i sort the tags using the module.

As an example.

My tags are: January, February, March, ...September, October, Acoustic, and so on

At the moment it looks like that: January,March,Acoustic,February,

A) Is there a comfortable way to sort this directly in zentools2

or

B) have i sort this in the Joomla tag component using the "registered date" or "id" or so...

If it is B) I have create my tags already . Is there a way to reorganise this for example by "id" or "registered date". Actually all this fields are not editable anymore ?? or have i to do this again?

Many thanks!
Cheers Frank

Hi Frank,

Have you tried the ordering options in the module settings?

Hi Paul,
I didn't mean organizing the contents.

I want to sort the navigationbar with the tags in zentools.
(dev.breite63.de/index.php/programm/programm-menue/programm)

Decrease the misunderstanding
Cheers Frank

there is a field in the options tab where you can type in the order you want, eg "my tag 1, my second tag" etc.

aaah,...thanks blueshift

now it works fine ;-)

Now another issue i have to get solved is that the "Override filter" doesn't seems to work with tag-words using the german umlaut mark...for example like MÄRZ or KULTUR FÜR SENIOREN

dev.breite63.de/index.php/programm/programm-menue/programm

The previous setting (without using the override filter) worked with "german umlaut" (ä,ü,ö...)

In the buildr template settings ...under the tab "fonts" ..."Body fonts" the setting is: "Open+Sans:300:latin"

The fonts are displayed correctly in the zentools navbar. The filter does not work for example for the month "March "

My ipad was showing only the sidebar, I get blank screens on my desktop. So die umlaute in the ZT2 admin seem to be causing a problem.
