best way to display Creative Commons attribution in slideshow

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi,

I need a way to display Creative Commons attribution in a zentools2 slideshow as defined on this age wiki.creativecommons.org/wiki/Best_practices_for_attribution but I can't think of a way short of a separate legal page for licensing.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Helen

Hi Helen,

Not something I've ever had to do other than my dissertation all those years ago

In that we used foot notes with superscript numbering and then the attribution at the bottom of the page

Cheers

Hi Paul,

Is there a way to have a small caption for each slide, with clickable links? See the link for what that might look like.

Internal anchors on the superscript item maybe? and then jumping to the footnote on the page

I don't see how I can do it in the slideshow/gallery. I think my only option is to use images from content and have the attribution on that page.

Once before I did this using JCE caption which is pretty inconspicuous. But it still was not in the slideshow.

Be interesting if you can figure out anything else.

Thanks,
Helen

My four-legged entourage has dwindled to 1 dog and 3 cats. Never a dull moment. ;)

I added the image and introtext to the drag and drop section - the text above is one example I added to the gallery intro box section

Well, kinda. However, what I want REALLY is the regular ability to have Title and what-not with the image, and the attribute to be at the bottom of the slideshow, like what you have but more. If I try to include those things together, then the Title and Intro/attribute get included together and that just doesn't work.

This is with the title enabled and the overlay

You would be able to adjust the positioning via css - not sure how much on that

Oh, I was using slideshow-backstretch. Ok, coming along, gotta question, my banner position is not respecting the auto height. So my image is disappearing under my logowrap.

You will need to have an image resize I think and possibly fill container option enabled as well
