tryng to replicate slideshow using zentools2 but not displaying

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

my client has a module that came with her template that handles the slideshow but it only supports 3 slides and we want to replicate that look so she can have more slides using zentools2. i have installed the latest version and i have one k2 item published in the category i specified and it has an image. however, the module does not display at all when i turn it on. i just want a very basic slideshow with the image on one side/column and the title and introtext in the other column. i believe i set it up correctly but i can't get it to show.

the site is www.holisticlifestyle.ca

i have the module turned on in the same position as the regular slideshow but it doesn't show me anything. yes i have the menu settings assigned to display in home. i have the category items set to 5 but there is only 1 item in the category. it is published and i have the module name set to display and that also doesn't show.

ideas?

Hi

What have you selected in the drag and drop section and where is the image in the content?

Is the module loading to a position or an article?

i turned off js compression and still nothing. i set it to all pages and it doesn't appear to be showing anywhere.

i disabled javascript and now it is showing the category title (which i don't want displayed) and a small bar but not the slideshow itself.

At the moment the content fields are empty other than the title

<div class="zt-text-intro zt-element zt-block zt-element-2 zt-left zt-hidden-content">
</div>

Have you any content to display?

yes there is content and actually that is not the title. the title of the module is Health and Wellness. The category is titled Slideshow and if you click where it says slideshow it takes you to the category listing with the 3 pieces of content which should be displayed.

3 of the content items have the image published in the Image tab of k2
One also has the image in the content itself so i could see where the image was pulling from.

Are you able to test loading it on a page without an alternate slideshow on it?

Can you attach the screenshot of the module's settings drag and drop section

if i turn off the other slideshow it looks the same. actually if you go to say the blogs or recipe pages you will only see the zentools2 slideshow.

I captured everything in that page. I did try single column layout but it had no effect.

rob just pointed out on another item that i was using the wrong option of k2 categories (which requires more than one category). i adjusted this to K2 and picked the category on content tab and of course i can get this to work now. i just need to work on layout and appearance to make it look nice.

You need to use k2 rather than categories
