Full Screen Width Masonry

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Any idea what the settings are to achieve a full screen width masonry layout like the one in the demo here?

Hi Jon

Are you using a latest version of the zentools2 module?

Yes I have the latest version of Zentools.

I've tried a few settings in Masonry settings but they didn't seem to do much. Not sure what to change to achieve that look tbh.

Have you tried using the quickstart on a localhst as a guide to follow e.g. comparing your settings to your site?

I can see one featured article are you planning to use featured and non featured articles?

After updating the module have you compiled the master css?

Yes I was planning on using a featured and some non featured items.

I went to setting and clicked on Compile Less. Didn't make a difference.

Depending on the version you updated from it may require compiling the master css - is that what you compiled?

Quickstart wise - yes under the zentools dropdown there is a list of zentools2 layouts

If still having problems can you attach a screenshot of your masonry settings from the zentools2 theme tab > Masonry style section

I tried compiling with this button:

Here are my masonry settings but as I said whatever I change them to it makes no difference:

I've also tried installing the quick start package but it won't proceed past screen 1 of the installation process. buildr.churchesaliveonline.com whatever I put it when I've filled out all the fields it just sticks when I click NEXT.

Try adjusting either the image resize or enable the resize to add smaller images

These changes still bring me nothing like the result in the demo page and the quick start package won't install at all.

Are you installing the quickstart to an empty site e.g. localhost?

Re images sizes - I tried the resizing option in the menu with lots of different sizes. Are you suggesting I resize the images manually before I upload them?

I extracted the quick start package to a new folder on my server with it's own subdomain buildr.churchesaliveonline.com and pointed the browser there. Whenever I try and fill out the admin details and click NEXT it just scrolls to the top of the screen with no error message and does nothing.

I'd try and use a localhost for quickstart - that is what the team do to troubleshoot issues

If there is a caching issue on the site - I'd make sure you know what is happening with that before working with the masonry

I've not used a local host before. Shouldn't the quick start install fine the way I described?
