Please can anyone help me to build a slideshow with animated overlay. How can I connect a folder with images to the module. And where can I put the text for every image?

With the filename for the image - name the files like this

Hello Paul,

I made a new module with Zentools and selected a position.
And in Lay-out Type I choose (Preset) Overlay Slideshow.
Content.....?
Layout I dragged Images and text to the left.
But after that I am completely lost.
I've tried to find out how the samples where build, but there is no sample of a slideshow.
I want to make a new gallery, with the images I want to put in de slideshow. Do I make the text tiles in Media?

Can I just confirm which version of zentools you are using?

Is it zentools version 1 or Zentools version 2?

That means you are zentools v1 rather than zentools v2

The thread is in the zentools2 forum - are you intending to keep using zentools v1?

The instructions are a little different between the two

If you haven't created any modules with your current version of zentools I'd suggest moving to the latest version

I just downloaded Zentools v 2. I think it is the best to uninstall version 1. Am I correct?

First step is to name the file names themselves -

I would use this format in naming your files

your_new_file_names.jpg

Do I understand you correctly?
I take three images and a name them as you suggest. Then I upload them in a new folder in media.
What is the maximum I can use in a slide show.
Someone once told me that Joomla Bamboo is a company in New Sealand. So I was suprised that you were still awake.

Me and Rob are in the UK but the HQ is in Australia

Maximum images isn't really a factor it would be the speed of the site which would be the problem - too many images and it would load very slowly

I'd start with just 3 images to reduce confusion - once you have grasped how it works you can certainly add more

The day is ending for me. I made some progress, I have slideshow now, but not with text. I will work on it tomorrow. I hope I can figured it out myself now. If not I will let you know.

The slideshow with the titles is working now, but I still have som questions. The overlay doesn't have the same size as the pictures.
Where can I edit this, with making the pictures bigger and/or the overlay smaller.
I have tried to make grid smaller but that doesn't work.
I only used 3 images narrowed down the size of the images as much as possible and have used a DPI of 12, but it takes a long time before the slideshow starts.
