Navbar in Zentools2 is only displaying Aliases for Tags & Categories

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi there
It appears that Zentools2 is only displaying the Aliases for Titles in the Navbar, instead of the actual Title. Using the Title is important on my website, because I use very technical terms where correct punctuation and Capitalization is required in the right places.

I used Zentools1 extensively on my Newstream2 based website and did not have this problem with V1. I have been switching over to Zentools2 and just noticed the difference.

The two main configurations I use is setting the Navbar to Sort by Tags or Categories.
All my Tags are only displaying the alias name, which means the Titles do not look right.
The same thing is happening with Category Titles - the alias is displaying instead of Proper Title.

I hope this can be fixed.

Regards
Derek :)

I have already published Zentools2 on my live website, for most of the important pages.
However, I am still using Zentools1 for some other pages.

Here is an actual live example of the problem with only Aliases showing.
There is no capitalization for many letters.

Here is a screen shot from old version of website, showing how Zentools1 displays actual Titles. See that there is proper capitalization for secondary words are acronyms.

Please also note I am using Newstream2.

Derek.

With the capitalisation

#filters-526.zt-filter-list.btn ul li {text-transform: capitalize;}

Does that help?

Hi Paul

No I don't want all the Titles to be in FULL CAPS.
Just to look like Full Caps instead of Full caps.

Anthony is looking at this but capitalize is just the first letter of each word - not all the words that would instead be

text-transform: uppercase;

To answer your suggestion from 56 minutes ago, no I do not want to capitalize the first letter of each word. That does not always work for technical terms. That is why what the Title says is what it should say. I have already explained what the problem is with my original post. It sounds like Anthony is going to fix this.

Zentools2 is using the Alias instead of proper Title.
Zentools1 used the correct Title.

Examples of Tag on my website would not be fixed by using your suggestion.

"DVD" is the Title of a tag and how it displays in Zentools1.
"Dvd" is incorrect.

"Sony Vegas Pro" is correct in Zentools1.
"Sony vegas pro" is incorrect.

"Blu-ray Disc" is correct.
"Blu-ray disc" is incorrect.
