Zentools2 and responsive

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi,

Unfortunately, Zentools2 seems to me not to be responsive: http://goo.gl/5qOL0r All settings I have tried. What's weird even for me, is the title. The background does not fit on the length of the title. Sometimes there are two lines.

Many thanks for your help.

Hi

Can you confirm what you mean by not responsive - what is not working?

.backstretch-wrapper .backstretch-title {min-width: 400px;}

should help increase the min width of the title block

Hi,

thanks for your help. I changed the min-width to 400px, but now the background is to long at the right?!

When I resize the browser window, the image remains the same size.

Cheers

Hi

Is the issue on the image on a particular device as I can't see it causing a scroll bar by being too wide

Does it improve the display if you alter the position of where the text appears?

.backstretch-wrapper .backstretch-title {left: 88px;}

this is the current style so try adding the line below and reducing the 88px value

body .backstretch-wrapper .backstretch-title {left: 88px;}

Hi,

thanks for your help.

The picture should become smaller but proportional. Here I use Zentools1 and it works beautifully: http://goo.gl/CZIYWh.

I did not mean that the position of the background is distracting, but the length of the right (see screenshot).

Cheers

Hi

With the zentools v1 version I don't see any text - just images

The slideshows are different types so they will display the images differently

Zentools v1 is standard type slideshow
Zentools v2 is a backstretch type slideshow

Regarding the text overlay are you wanted this to match the length of the text?

Hi,

It's about two things.

1. The Slideshow screen is not responsive at Zentools2. In Zentools1 it is. That was the link to show.

The second is that the dark background should be adapted of the text length, or?

Hi

The slideshow backstretch doesn't operate the same as the standard type on both versions of zentools

Try using the standard type zentools slideshow in zentools v2 it will behave the same as the zentools v1 version

I do not quite understand. I've bought extra Zentools2 and now I can not use it? I just want that the slideshow images to the screen size adjusts.

In the module settings of zentools2 change the layout selected from

slideshow-backstretch
to
slideshow

Hi,

thanks for the help. Now I undertood. I changed to "Slideshow".

The images are displayed with a width of 1200px, although the width is 1024px. All settings have nothing changed. I want "prev" and "next" to be shown at the center of the image (left and right). Is that possible?

Hi

If you add this line

body #zentools-973.owl-carousel .owl-item {
padding: 0;
}

Does that help with the images?

Hi

You would add to the custom / override styling of the template so I'd assume this file is

www.dasmietwerk.de/templates/gk_msocial/css/override.css

Hi,

everything worked. Many Thanks. One thing, unfortunately, does not work well. I chose that title for Phone and Tablet should not be displayed. He still appears. Any Idea?

Thx

Hi

I'm a little unclear on the issue - the title being the module title?
How have you set it not to display?
